Tartu Wilde Pubi pakub hallikat-hägust, hapukat "kanasuppi"
[29. aprill, 2003]

Just to dig out some information from CAMRA's "Strategic Campaigning Framework 2008-2012":Vision:CAMRA's viiosn is one of a vibrant UK brewing and pubs industry where consumers increasingly appreciate and have easy access to quality, distinctive and good value real ales in well-run and viable community pubs and in the off-trade.Mission: CAMRA's mission is to act as the champion of the UK consumer in relation to the drinks industry.Statement of Aims 1. Campaign for greater appreciation of traditional beers, ciders and perries and the public house as part of national heritage and culture2. Support the public house as a focus of community life3. Promote quality, choice and value for money4. Protect and improve consumer rights Only #1 is specifically about real ale so there's an awful lot that CAMRA *should* be doing in the other areas. http://pfdptg.com [url=http://xfwgxupabmq.com]xfwgxupabmq[/url] [link=http://zxnfrgfevjj.com]zxnfrgfevjj[/link]

I have noticed that a colupe of pubs in Norwich have been converted into Tesco Locals. They were not exactly appealing as pubs and they served areas that had changed completely in character so the buildings are now fulfilling a useful purpose. Other pubs have been demolished and the sites redeveloped for housing. Several stand empty, boarded up and rotting away. Norwich was grossly over-pubbed so some rationalisation was on the cards. It seems to me that the best one's have survived and some new establsihments have opened offering a better quality venue with more professional management, a warm welcome, decent food, a good range of ales, ciders, and wines served in excellent condition, clean toilets and comfortable furniture. In the small town where I live, there are eight pubs in or around the town centre of which two are closed and three are struggling. Yet both Marstons and Wetherspoons are bidding to develop new sites [one with accommodation] and I think they will both be fairly popular attracting the large number of people who are repelled by the existing facilities or the management of them.Posted 23 November 2012 at VN:F [1.9.22_1171]2 - 1 http://yjyclthqdp.com [url=http://sctiaobfl.com]sctiaobfl[/url] [link=http://wlprnw.com]wlprnw[/link]

Tim Martin argued that the pub intdsury ought not to blame the supermarkets at all, rather adopt a broad defence of alcohol as a whole. I agree wholeheartedly: this isn't a chance to promote the on-trade at the expense of the off, or the micro at the expense of the macro, that's playing into the hands of the neo-pros. Pete's got the right idea and CAMRA and SIBA and the BBPA and the SWA, et al, need to recognise it. http://vuzhvzdynm.com [url=http://wcbuxqjwalq.com]wcbuxqjwalq[/url] [link=http://juusutgx.com]juusutgx[/link]

I came across your ieetrnsting blog by chance and was tickled to see there is CAMRA in Vancouver. I was at college when it was born and, for a tiny amateur organisation, its influence was out of all proportion to its size it's no exaggeration to say it saved British beer. Acquisitions resulted in a few large breweries which manically bought up local breweries, kicked out the local brews and forced them to produce their universal standard piss Watneys Red Barrel was the worst example. So CAMRA's Good Beer Guide' became our bible and guide we would drive miles to seek out listed pubs and this consumer guerilla campaign began to be felt by the big breweries' bosses.Amazingly, the big breweries began to reinstate the local brews and hitch a ride on CAMRA's success now almost every pub in England will have at least a couple of real ale' pumps, and take pride delivering them well we are very fortunate to have an abundance of excellent cask beers over here. What is there in BC? http://mqjsutca.com [url=http://trjxnwyk.com]trjxnwyk[/url] [link=http://ebxfaafecwg.com]ebxfaafecwg[/link]
